Linder has one great passion ..... chocolate.
My discovery
of chocolate happened in my early childhood in Switzerland. It was just
so yummy and sweet to eat. I wasn't thinking of working in the chocolate
production, at the time I just wanted to eat it.
My passion of making chocolate started after I came to Canada in 2001,
after I started to work for a Belgium Confectioner, located just outside
Montreal. After 3 years in the chocolate production I decided to devote
my energy to provide quality chocolates to others who have a similar appreciation
for a quality product. This energy was focused to satisfy my hunger for
greater knowledge and I found myself pouring over books, searching the
internet and even attending chocolate conventions.
This led to start Out The Box Chocolates in 2007, where I was busy sourcing
material and the tools of the trade. To supplement this effort I spent
the fall of 2007 attending workshops and courses in Switzerland at the
Chocolate Academy of Carma and Barry Callebaut with master chocolatiers
who shared my passion. The course instructors themselves were award winning
chocolatiers. I continuously hone my skills, refine recipes and experiment
with new products and materials. So the love affair continues.
Out The Box Chocolates produces Swiss style hand-crafted chocolates using
only fresh quality ingredients with no preservatives added.
